The Habsheet app keeps what you enter on your device. It has no account, no server and no analytics, and it sends nothing to us.
Updated 15 September 2026. This describes Habsheet 1.0.0 for iPad, iPhone and Android.
All of it is saved in the app’s own storage on your device. None of it is sent to us. We cannot see it, and we cannot get it back for you if it is lost.
You decide what to record about your customers and what to do with it. Under UK data protection law you are responsible for that information. We never receive it, so we do not process it on your behalf.
The app makes no network connections of its own. Information leaves the device only when you do one of these things:
If backup is turned on for your device, the app’s data is included in it, the same as other apps. On an iPad or iPhone that is an iCloud or computer backup. On Android it is a backup to your Google account. The backup belongs to your Apple or Google account; we have no access to it. You can turn backup off in your device settings.
When you add a logo or stamp, the system photo picker opens and the app receives only the image you choose. The app keeps a reduced copy for your sheets. It does not read the rest of your photos.
On Android the app lists one permission: network access. It comes with the framework the app is built on. The app does not use it to send anything.
The app does not use your location, camera, microphone, contacts, calendar or notifications.
The App Store and Google Play deliver the app, under their own privacy policies. If you have allowed your device to share diagnostics with app developers, Apple or Google may pass us crash and performance reports. Those describe the device, its operating system and what the app was doing when it failed. They do not contain your jobs or your customers’ details.
Deleting a job in the app deletes it from your device. Exported PDFs stay in the app’s storage until the app is deleted. Deleting the app deletes everything it stored, apart from any device backups and any PDFs you have already shared.
We hold none of the data the app stores, so there is nothing for us to delete.
We keep your email address and your messages so we can reply, and for as long as we are in touch about Habsheet. Ask and we will delete them. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Habsheet is for professional engineers. It is not intended for children.
If the app changes what it stores or sends, this page will change before that version is released, and the date at the top will change with it.
